Australian shares have dropped more than two per cent in early trade, falling to their lowest level since May 2019. It marks the seventh day in a row of losses for the Australian stock market, which has been weighed down by fears the coronavirus will cause a global recession. Weak Chinese manufacturing data released over the weekend was the trigger for Monday's share market tumble.
