International property seekers are among buyers and renters taking a break from Australia's housing market since the COVID-19 outbreak. REA Group Chief Economist Nerida Conisbee told Sky News searches were down 67 per cent over the past 12 months. “They’re not gone entirely but they’re certainly far less active than they were 12 months ago,” she said.
