Chinese President Xi Jinping has delivered a speech at the Boao Forum warning nations against meddling with internal Chinese affairs. Liberal MP Dave Sharma said the annual Asian conference had become like the “Asian Davos” and had been used by President Xi to push the idea of China’s rising influence. The leader of the Asian superpower noted the shift in the international balance of power saying “global governance should reflect the evolving political and economic landscape."
