New York Police Search for Man Who Tried to Force Himself Into Woman’s Apartment

The New York Police Department said they were looking for an attempted burglary suspect who tried to force himself into a woman’s Bronx apartment after following her home on September 23. The incident took place inside an apartment building at around 2 am near the intersection of East 168 Street and Sherman Avenue, according to police. The NYPD posted this footage of the incident, showing the woman close her door just as the suspect tried to barge in.
