Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian “made one very bad decision” in resigning. “I know the people around her very well, some of them very well, and they’ve said for years that she is absolutely one of the purest … most honest politicians they’ve ever come across,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Catherine McGregor. “And the public know that, the public can feel that, despite all this Maguire stuff, her popularity is very high. “Maybe she should’ve reported something - okay, should that have ended her career?” “What a farce, and I’d say to Gladys Berejiklian, I’d give her one piece of advice: you made one very bad decision today in resigning, don’t make another one by resigning from parliament, don’t make that mistake.”
