Climate activists blocked Amazon sites across the UK on November 26, Black Friday, to “confront the exploitative and environmentally destructive business practices of one of the world’s largest companies," Extinction Rebellion said. This footage, posted on Twitter by Extinction Rebellion UK, shows a protester outside an Amazon site in Tilbury dressed as former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos sat on a rocket with the words ‘amazon crime’ written on its nose. Extinction Rebellion said 13 blockades were planned at Amazon fulfilment centres across the country, including Peterborough and Dartford. The activists said the sites accounted for over 50 percent of Amazon deliveries in the UK. Credit: Extinction Rebellion UK via Storyful
