Snow Squall Blows Through Penn State Campus

A snow squall was reported in State College, Pennsylvania, as a cold front cut across the region on Sunday, November 28. Footage filmed by Alex Schaaf shows the heavy snowfall on Penn State University’s main campus. “Got a nice welcome back to Penn State with a pretty hefty snow squall. Visibility dropped quick but everything mainly stuck to non paved surfaces. Great to see some snow,” Schaaf said in his post on Twitter. According to the National Weather Service, the expected snowfall for State College on Monday is 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) in a chilly start to the week, with the highest amount of snow expected to fall in northwest Pennsylvania.
