Final preparations are underway for Sydney's 41st Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade. Some 300,000 revellers are expected to fill the city's famous Oxford Street to watch nearly 200 floats embracing 2019's theme of 'fearless'. For this year's 41st anniversary festival the state government has relaxed its controversial lockout laws for the night.
