After almost a year the operation to decontaminate the English city of Salisbury from Novichok has been declared complete. Over 13,000 hours have been spent on removing traces of the deadly nerve agent from several sites across the city. Areas of the city had been contaminated with the lethal substance in an assassination attempt on the former Russian spy, Sergei Skripal, and his daughter in March 2018.
