Bali has been hit by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake which is believed to have started 100km south of Denpasar at 10am on Tuesday. Hotels were evacuated throughout the Indonesian tourist hot spot, but no tsunami warning has yet been issued. Bali is part of the geological zone dubbed the ‘Ring of Fire’ where most of the world’s earthquakes strike.
