Nancy Pelosi has returned to the floor of US Congress after being temporarily banned for breaking house rules when she labelled President Donald Trump 'racist'. US lawmakers had been debating a series of controversial tweets from the President, in which he suggested four democratic US congresswomen should 'go back to where they came from', when Pelosi labelled the tweets as 'racist'. Pelosi's ban and subsequent return to Congress played out before the House, which voted by a 240-187 margin to condemn Trump's tweets.
