Editor-at-Large at the Australian Paul Kelly says the impending foreign fighters bill will pose 'a test' for Labor leader Anthony Albanese. Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton is preparing to introduce legislating to parliament next week seeking to ban high-risk individuals from coming home for up to two years if they were fighting with terrorist groups. The move comes amid reports forty Australians who joined Islamic State and other extremist groups in Syria and Iraq have returned to the country. Mr Kelly told Sky News that the government will run 'very hard' on the foreign fighters' bill, putting the onus on Labor to support the legislation. Labor has indicated it supports the measures in principle but are waiting to see the legislation before deciding whether to support the bill.
