Two cars have been hit by a train at a level crossing in Melbourne, sparking major delays in the south-east. Emergency crews were called to the track on Brunt Road shortly after 7am on Monday when the train crashed into the two vehicles. Authorities say the two drivers stopped on the track to exchange details after being involved in a car accident before the boom gates dropped. Both drivers were out of their cars when the train hit, pushing one vehicle out of the way and dragging the other for 150 metres. No one was injured in the incident, but one driver was taken to hospital and treated for shock. Trains have been stopped in the area and commuters have been told to expect delays.
