Qantas will be forced to ground half of its A380 fleet in June next year after cracks were found in the wings of similar models. The European Safety Agency ordered Airbus to inspect 25 old models of A380s in service, six of which are owned by Qantas. The Australian airline has assured customers that the schedule inspections in June are coming well ahead of schedule.
