Up to 2,000 wharf workers across Australia will go on strike on Wednesday, which could leave containers full of medical supplies and consumer goods stuck on ships for days. The workers are demanding a three per cent pay rise and changes to workplace agreement provisions. The strikes have raised concerns hospitals won't get the medication they need, with the country in the grip of a deadly flu season.
