The man behind one of Western Australia’s worst mass murders is expected to be sentenced on Friday. Anthony Robert Harvey, 25, killed his three young daughters, partner and mother-in-law at their Perth family home on September 3 last year. Harvey admitted stabbing his young daughters, three-year-old Charlotte and two-year-old twins Alice and Beatrix, when they were asleep before murdering their mother Mara Lee Harvey, 41. He also admitted to murdering the children’s grandmother Beverley Ann Quinn, 73 when she visited the Bedford home the next morning. Director of Public Prosecutions Amanda Forrester has described the killings as 'degrading' and 'abhorrent' and said Harvey could be the first person sentenced to life without parole in state history.
