Major regional towns around NSW are being promised they will not run out water despite water stores hitting dangerously low levels. Forecasts show Dubbo, in the state's central west, is on track to run out of drinking water as early as November. Nationals Leader Michael McCormack has told the Australian the federal government won't let that happen. Mr McCormack said while water is a state government responsibility, the Coalition would never stand idly by and see communities dry up. Image: News Corp Australia
