Nicki Hutley from Deloitte Access Economics told Sky News everybody was “going to be on the edge of their seats” ahead of the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) board meeting on Tuesday. Ms Hutley said the RBA would be looking for the difference for the third-quarter outlook, with one of the most significant factors being tax offsets and whether they “flowed through to the economy”. According to Ms Hutley, “it is highly probable we will see another interest rate cut”, so Australians need to “be alert, not alarmed”.
