Mogo zoo director looks to the future after fire almost destroys park

Mogo Wildlife Park director Chad Staples says he and 15 other zookeepers worked around the clock to fight off an inferno that was threatening the lives of hundreds of animals within the zoo on Christmas Eve. Fire razed much of Mogo, which is a small mining town in NSW, however remarkably no animal was injured despite the extreme danger the fire posed. In the aftermath of the fire, a rare bit of good news: with a new lion cub being born days after the inferno threatened the park's survival. Mr Staples spoke to Sky News about his harrowing ordeal.
