A supermarket in Cairns was left flooded after more than 200 millimetres of rain fell on the North Queensland city on January 29. North Queensland was hit by heavy rain brought by a tropical low, prompting the Bureau of Meteorology to issue flood warnings across the region including a major flood warning for the Gulf Rivers. Queensland Police have urged residents to drive with caution in flood conditions, using the refrain, “if it’s flooded, forget it.” Credit: Delma Albuquerque via Storyful
