Supplied video obtained Tuesday, January 28, 2020, showing Army Reserve soldiers clearing potential fire hazards near the Bendora Hut and Bendora Arboretum. The Bendora Arboretum is the only remaining example of a series of 21 arboreta established in the Brindabella Ranges to study the suitability of a variety of introduced commercial species of trees for growing in the Canberra region. Fifty-two species of trees were planted in dedicated plots, with most containing eighty-one trees formally laid out in a grid fashion. The arboretum is the only to have survived the 2003 Canberra bushfires and is listed on the Heritage Places Register of the ACT. (AAP VIDEO/Supplied/Defence Media)
