January 5, 2020. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian in Sydney says NSW is in “unchartered territory” as bushfires continue to burn across the state and large parts of the country. Responding to a question in relation to travel alerts issued by the UK and the Netherlands, Ms Berejiklian says the extent of the bushfires ravaging NSW is unprecedented. “We can’t pretend that this is something that we’ve experienced before, it’s not,” Ms Berejiklian says, (AAP Video/Michael Wade)
