Chartered Accountants Australia, New Zealand's Michael Croker has urged Australians to continue "spending money" and "supporting local businesses" in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. "We knew where the bushfires were but this is trickling through all parts of the economy," Mr Croker said. Mr Croker said the impact of COVID-19 on businesses is primarily "a supply chain issue". The year ahead is expected to be difficult primarily for small businesses off the back of bushfires, floods and now a virus. Image: News Corp Australia
