March 3, 2020. Labor MP Terri Butler speaks to the media in Canberra claiming that two thirds of the environment restoration fund has gone to Liberal or National seats. "This government has allocated funding with an eye to electoral outcomes not environmental outcomes," Ms Butler says. "They've been throwing money around like it some sort of election confetti," she adds.
