Kyle Rittenhouse claims he is "not racist" and supports the Black Lives Matter movement during his first interview following his acquittal. The 18-year-old was found not guilty of killing two people and wounding a third during a racial justice protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. Protests were held across the United States in response to the shooting which included a riot in Portland, Oregon. Rittenhouse told Fox News the case had nothing to do with race but was about the right to self-defence. "I'm not a racist person, I support the BLM movement, I support peacefully demonstrating," he said. "I believe there needs to be change, I believe there's a lot of prosecutorial misconduct, not just in my case but in other cases and it's just amazing to see how much a prosecutor can take advantage of somebody."
