A woman found her car window covered in a sheet of ice in North Bay, Ontario, on November 17, as snow squalls were forecast for November 18. Temperatures dipped to 19 degrees Fahrenheit in North Bay on November 17. Environment Canada noted that snow squalls were expected throughout Ontario on the afternoon of November 18 and continuing through the morning of November 19. Forecasts predicted that the area east of Georgian Bay would be hardest hit, with up to 20 cm (about 8 inches) of snow predicted. Local woman Laura Frost recorded this video of her ice-covered car.
