The Morrison government has reportedly banned right-wing commentator Milo Yiannopoulos from entering Australia. Mr Yiannopoulas’s visa application has reportedly been denied by the Home Affairs Department on grounds he does not pass Australia’s character test. The US-based speaker has recently courted controversy for sending threatening messages to reporters which say, ‘I can’t wait for the vigilant squads to start gunning journalists down on sight’. Sky News understands the controversial speaker has been notified by the government of their initial decision, which he now has 28 days to respond.
