Stricter regulations could be imposed on IVF clinics across Victoria as a growing number of women are becoming critically ill while undergoing treatment. The state government is reportedly considering tough new measures after dozens of women suffered a potentially life-threatening syndrome. There are concerns clinics are failing to properly warn women about the risks associated with the fertility treatment.
