Thousands of demonstrators in Paris have taken part in a rally against mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations and the implementation of health passes. Over 200 protests with around 170,000 participants have been held across France since August 9. The health pass is required to access cafes, restaurants, museums, cinemas, shopping malls – as well as long distance transport. French President Emmanuel Macron said the COVID-19 pass requirement – in effect until November 15 – may be extended further.
