Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has apologised amid a "disgustingly crass political manoeuvre" regarding funding for Israel's Iron Dome, according to documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz. The Democratic representative was seen crying after she switched her vote against the bill to "present". "She voted to abstain when she was pushing, she was the prime mover from stripping this bill," Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Paul Murray. "Despicable."
