Sunrise illuminated dense fog and smoke from West Coast wildfires over the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lebanon, Virginia, on September 14. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of southwestern Virginia, warning patchy fog could reduce visibility.
