The Taliban has claimed victory over the remaining opposition forces left in Afghanistan. The Islamist group has declared its takeover of the country complete after it allegedly capture the Panjshir province north of Kabul. However the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan is rejecting the claims the region has been captured and says it will continue to fight. The NRF is blaming the international community for giving the Taliban legitimacy as well as military and political confidence.
