Passers-By and Police Rush to Save Man on Oklahoma Bridge

Passers-by and police rushed to the aid of a man who had climbed over the railings of a highway overpass bridge in Tulsa, Oklahoma, helping to drag him hack to safety, as seen in this video from March 1. Police described the man as suicidal and said the incident took place on February 23. Tulsa Police Department Officer S Daniels says “don’t do this” and “I am here for you” as he arrives on the scene. Passers-by were holding onto the man when the officer arrived. After he is hauled to safety, the man was handcuffed. Police said he was “placed… in protective custody.” Credit: Tulsa Police Department via Storyful
