FULL INTERVIEW: The Agriculture Minister says union ‘morons’ need to ‘get out of the way’ of the Australia-Indonesia free trade deal signed on Monday in Jakarta that will see farming and cultivation ‘boom’. Unions fear the deal could hurt Australian jobs by opening the floodgates to exploited Indonesia workers and undermine national sovereignty by allowing international rulings of investment disputes. Speaking with Sky News host Peta Credlin, David Littleproud says if Australia doesn’t trade with the world, its agriculture sector and regional communities will die off. He says Australia has enough production to supply about 75 million people with food. Image: News Corp Australia
