Another snowfall warning was issued for Coquitlam, British Columbia – part of the Vancouver metro area – as east-bound storms continued to move across the region on January 16, but some locals kept a sunny attitude through the wintry onslaught. Vancouver resident Sam Yeh posted a video of snow falling on Thursday with the caption “And it’s snowing again…hooray!” Vancouver’s TransLink light rail said service was operating “slower than normal due to inclement weather” on Thursday. Transportation was heavily disrupted on Wednesday and commuters were advised “to stay home where possible” as over 50 bus routes were affected by heavy snow, local media reported. The Vancouver area was expected to get more snow and some rain through Friday, reports said. Credit: Sam Yeh via Storyful
