Tropical Storm Nicholas threatened parts of southern Louisiana with significant rainfall as it moved along the Gulf Coast on Tuesday, September 14, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported. Taylor Marie Rubach said this video shows flooding on Goodwood Boulevard in Baton Rouge on Tuesday. The NWS warned of the risk for “extreme” flooding and reminded affected persons not to drive through floodwaters. The storm had made landfall as a hurricane before weakening to a tropical storm.
