The NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has guaranteed it will still be safe to open the state to vaccinated people at a 70 per cent double-dose rate – despite modelling predicting Intensive Care admissions to peak in late October. The modelling also predicts case numbers to peak over the next week, before tapering off.
