Edge Electrons Chairman Richard McIndoe says a 45-50 per cent emission reduction by 2030 is achievable but would require everyone to make a “bit of an effort”. “It’s not going to get there by just one or two big high-profile projects,” Mr McIndoe told Sky News host Chris Kenny. He said there are “plenty of technologies” which could help consumers reduce electricity use, power bills, and reduce the carbon footprint. “The challenge is actually getting the information and the opportunity out there into the market.”
