Bands of lake-effect snow swept across western and central New York overnight on December 22 and into December 23, bringing winter conditions to the region ahead of Christmas. This video, taken in Marcellus, New York, near Syracuse, shows snow falling overnight. The National Weather Service forecast that more snow would fall in the region Thursday evening.
