UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid has confirmed the government will not implement any further restrictions in England before the new year. This is despite Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all introducing new measures on Boxing Day - limiting the size of gatherings in hospitality venues. However, the Health Secretary is telling people to remain cautious - signalling he hasn't ruled out implementing further measures in January.
