An additional two Omicron COVID infections have been detected at a school in south-west Sydney after a student was confirmed as the cluster's first case on Friday. So far, three cases have been linked to the Regents Park Christian School cluster and urgent genomic testing is underway to determine how many have contracted the new strain. The two new Omicron cases are classmates of the infectious year nine student, who has no recent overseas travel history. The infection source of the cluster is unknown.
