Queensland will reopen hotel quarantine today, allowing some residents to return from interstate hotspots. Just 50 spaces are initially offered, but more places will open up as rooms become available. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has faced criticism after allowing the families of NRL players to return and blocking returning travellers. She has since apologised for the decision but maintained the system was under pressure.
