Small wedding ceremonies are returning to New South Wales under changes to the state’s COVID-safe rules. Residents can now get married with a group of up to five people plus a photographer attending. The new rules mean only the people getting married, two witnesses, a celebrant, and a photographer will be allowed to be present. Those who attend must live in the same region as the service and people from hotspot areas can only go if they are part of the ceremony. Receptions are not permitted and the wedding must be held outdoors.
