An Arctic front swept parts of northern Maine overnight into Friday, December 3, blanketing the area with snow. This footage, posted to Twitter by James Sinko, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS), shows heavy snowfall in Castle Hill and a snow-covered road while driving toward Caribou, in northeastern Maine, on Friday morning. According to the NWS branch in Caribou, about 14 miles northeast of Castle Hill, the cold and blustery winds would cause temperatures to plunge on Friday into the weekend.
