Australia's largest beer manufacturers have been forced to ration some of their products over supply chain issues due to COVID-19. Shortages of wooden pallets and aluminum have hit the Lion and Carlton & United Breweries. Carlton & United says it's had to limit the sale of its most popular beer in response to the issue. However, the company expects supply will continue to arrive in Australia in the lead-up to Christmas. Purchase limits introduced at alcohol retailer BWS are anticipated to be lifted by the middle of next week.
