Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says he is “dead against” implementing a vaccine passport for Australians to be able to travel around freely. He told Sky News freedom of movement was “one of the birthrights” in Australia. “For internal travel we should not have papers please, and questions for internal travel in this country, that has got to end and the sooner it ends the better,” he said. “I won’t be, I know many of my Nationals colleagues will not be, supporting any kind of rollout of vaccine passports in this country, it’s not part of our nation, not part of our history.”
