The remarks come after Australia Post had initially imposed a ban on all perishable goods by June 30, a ban they later deferred pending business consultation. "Australia Post will be trucking perishable goods," Ms McKenzie said. "They're actually going to work with state governments because its food safety regulations that's their purvey - to get a harmonised system across the board.
