Support for Australian Indians suffering loss

South Australia's Indian community is ramping up efforts to support their homeland's crippled health system by hosting prayer ceremonies and cultural fundraising events to buy oxygen and medical supplies. The state government has also funded a Hindi language grief hotline to support locals struggling to cope with the devastation overseas. For many, belonging to a community may be the closest thing to a cure as there are many who are dealing with the loss and illness of loved ones. The community is building support networks to help India and Dr Seshu Boda is the head of the India COVID Action group, a collective of organisations which hopes to raise a $1 million through donations and events.
