Curtin University’s Joe Siracusa says President Joe Biden reminds him of a “chaplain on a pirate ship” and is surrounded by a cast of left-wing Democrats. “Joe Biden is a nice guy and a lot of people around him have some very extreme ideas,” he told Sky News. Mr Siracusa’s comments follow research from the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) which exposed the activist backgrounds of many key Biden cabinet officials. “They’re in the driver’s seat right now,” he said. “In many ways I think that Bernie Sanders has won the election because Biden from whatever his moderate talk is … has had to yield to the left wing of the party.”
