Tennis player Ash Barty has produced one of the best performances of her career to reach her first Wimbledon final. The world number one defeated three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber in straight sets and will be the first Australian to reach the woman’s final since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1980. Should she win, Ms Barty will emulate Ms Goolagong Cawley’s victory on the 50th anniversary of her first title.
